Nonlinear Systems Laboratory

Founded in 2005, the Nonlinear Sytems Laboratory (NSL) provides a facility for research and instruction involving the dynamics and control of nonlinear systems, especially mechanical control systems. Research focus areas include motion planning, robust and nonlinear control, and model-based estimation for ocean and atmospheric vehicles with applications to defense, science, and commerce.
